Dimple Desai Shah has over 20 years of experience representing individuals and corporate entities in the healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, and recreational activity facilities industries. Dimple’s experience includes extensive risk management and counseling regarding corporate operations, and the defense and prosecution of various litigation matters involving commercial/business disputes, products liability claims, and allegations of negligence, gross negligence, breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, vicarious liability and deceptive trade practices, among others.
Clients rely on Dimple’s varied background representing individuals, professionals, practices, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in all aspects of risk management and litigation. She has served as outside general counsel for various medical practices and a large nutritional supplements manufacturer, as Texas litigation counsel for a national laser medical spa and laser treatment company, and Texas counsel for a nationwide nursing home provider in its large volume, high-exposure litigation. She also has many years of experience in the defense of mass-tort litigation, as part of the strategy, case workup, and discovery teams. Her extensive legal experience includes management of complex discovery, in a lead role in a nationwide litigation comprising over 5,000 cases.
Dimple works closely with her clients’ internal staff including C-suite executives, management, administrative, sales, and marketing representatives, and has amassed a significant amount of experience in representing them in various legal deals and proceedings. She has successfully argued key motions across courts in Texas and in other jurisdictions including California and New Jersey. She has deposed hundreds of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, treating and prescribing physicians and experts, and has defended depositions of corporate representatives, sales representatives, and defense experts in various high-stakes litigation. Her experience also includes extensive employee training, witness preparation, and case work-up and trial.
